This is Signals and Threads, a new podcast from Jane Street, and I’m your host, Ron Minsky. Jane Street’s a trading firm with a deep commitment to technology. And over my almost twenty years working here, I’ve had the chance to talk with a ton of smart, dedicated people who are incredibly excited about the work they do, and my hope is to bring those conversations to you. We’re going to talk about everything from build systems to reconfigurable hardware, clock syncronization to reliable multicasts. In each of these conversatioins, we’ll talk about how we approach these problems, as well as how those approaches fit into the wider world of technology outside of Jane Street.
